[Development secrets]
We had a hard time choosing the material for this product. It took a long time to find a fabric that met all our requirements: it could be pleated, was stretchy, and was thick enough to be suitable for summer but not see-through.
The initial color scheme was navy and light blue, and the photo shoot was completed at MAKUA BEACH in Hawaii.
As we began mass production, we suddenly wondered, "Will sweat stains be less noticeable on the light blue fabric?", so we poured water on it, but the results were disastrous. We apologized profusely to the factory, saying that we couldn't sell it like this. We stopped production, quickly changed the fabric, and remade the product.
In the end, we created a stylish and refreshing item that is more versatile than the light blue version.
